Client: "Can you come over right away"

Agency: "Sure, what's the problem?"

Client: "I'm sitting on over a million premiums and I need a commercial…by Monday…systemwide."

Agency: "This coming Monday? Today is Thursday."

Client: "I know what day it is."

Agency: "We're on it."

 

In today's retail environment, market conditions can change in a few days. Few retail advertisers have the luxury of planning the work and then working the plan with limited interruption.

It's pretty much a given that most advertising companies are good strategic thinkers, but retail advertisers better be asking for some quick and nimble responsiveness with their finely tuned plan.

Agencies with retail brand accounts that say we're working on it, we're researching it, we're testing it, we're tweaking it, just don't get it.
